"QUANDO SINTO QUE JÁ SEI" / Documentary (2014)

SYNOPSIS:

The documentary Quando Sinto Que Já Sei invites viewers to reflect on the current state of education in Brazil. Rows of desks, 50-minute classes, standardized tests, factory-like bells marking the breaks, rigid curricula, knowledge segmented into different boxes—do today’s schools truly provide the resources children need to flourish, or do they simply shape them into efficient machines, equipped with technical skills but lacking critical thinking?

This project was born from our realization that essential values for human development are often left outside the classroom. Through this film, we explore innovative approaches to learning that are emerging and taking root across Brazil—methods that are grounded in participation and the autonomy of each unique child.
