"OLGA" / DRAMA (2005)
SYNOPSIS:
Berlin, early 20th century. Olga Benário (Camila Morgado) is a young German Jewish woman and passionate communist activist. Persecuted by the police, she flees to Moscow, where she receives military training and is assigned to accompany Luís Carlos Prestes (Caco Ciocler) back to Brazil. During their journey, as they plot the Communist Uprising against President Getúlio Vargas, the two fall deeply in love. United both in life and in their political ideals, Olga and Prestes must fight for love, for communism, and above all, for survival.
